Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pu Luong

The journey begins with a hotel pick-up in Hanoi, followed by a scenic drive toward Pu Luong Nature Reserve. The journey takes approximately 4–5 hours, including 1–2 short rest stops along the way.

One of the highlights of the route is a stop at Thung Khe Pass, where travelers can enjoy spectacular mountain views and observe local Muong ethnic people selling fresh regional products. Many of the ingredients here are truly organic and naturally grown — a genuine “jungle to table” experience that reflects the simplicity and purity of local mountain life.

Continue to Mai Chau for lunch and a short rest. After lunch, guests can choose 1 of these from a range of enjoyable activities to explore the local village and surrounding scenery, such as cycling through the village and rice fields, taking an electric buggy ride around the village to admire the peaceful landscapes, or enjoying a kayaking experience on the river.

Afterward, continue onward to Pu Luong. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel or eco-lodge and enjoy free time to relax and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains. Evening at leisure.

Day 2: Hieu Waterfall Trekking – Bat Cave visit

After breakfast, begin a trekking adventure to Hieu Waterfall, passing through beautiful rice terraces, peaceful streams, and traditional villages hidden among the mountains. The trekking route to Hieu Waterfall is approximately 5–6 km, allowing travelers to experience the stunning landscapes and authentic local life of Pu Luong along the way.

Enjoy lunch near the waterfall while surrounded by the sounds of nature and fresh mountain air. After some time to relax, continue to Bat Cave, one of the most fascinating caves in Pu Luong, famous for its impressive limestone formations and mysterious natural beauty. From the starting point of the trek, the distance to Bat Cave is approximately 2 km.

Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy a free and relaxing evening.

Day 3: Bamboo Rafting Experience – Transfer to Ninh Binh

After check-out, transfer by vehicle to the entrance of Tom Village. From there, continue the journey by traditional buffalo cart to the bamboo rafting area, enjoying the peaceful scenery and experiencing an authentic form of local transportation.

Along the way, stop to visit the traditional water wheels, an ingenious local invention used by the ethnic communities to lift and channel water from the streams to irrigate their rice fields and farmland.

Upon arrival at the bamboo rafting area, enjoy a peaceful sightseeing experience along the river. Drift gently through beautiful landscapes and enjoy the calm rhythm of local life in Pu Luong.

Lunch will be served on the bamboo raft, creating a memorable dining experience surrounded by nature.

After the excursion, depart for Ninh Binh. Upon arrival, visit Thung Nham Bird Park, where guests can admire the peaceful wetlands and observe thousands of birds returning to their nests in the late afternoon.

Check in at the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 4: Mua Cave – Trang An Landscape Complex

Today’s journey begins with a visit to Mua Cave, one of the most iconic viewpoints in Ninh Binh. After climbing more than 500 steps to the top, guests will be rewarded with panoramic views of limestone mountains, winding rivers, and rice fields stretching across the landscape.

Continue to Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its spectacular waterways, hidden caves, and dramatic limestone karst formations. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride for 2–3 hours through this breathtaking natural landscape.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for relaxation.

Day 5: Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay Cruise

After breakfast, check out and depart from Ninh Binh at 7:20 AM for Ha Long Bay. The journey takes you through the scenic countryside of northern Vietnam.

Arrive at the marina around noon for check-in and boarding on the cruise.

Spend the afternoon cruising through the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, surrounded by thousands of limestone islands rising from the sea. Depending on the cruise program, guests may enjoy activities such as kayaking, cave visits, cooking demonstrations, or simply relaxing on the sundeck while watching the sunset over the bay.

Dinner and overnight stay on board

Day 6: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

Wake up to the peaceful atmosphere of the bay and enjoy the final moments on board before the cruise returns to the harbor.

After disembarkation, transfer back to Hanoi, marking the end of the Mountain to Ocean journey — a memorable adventure through the mountains, plains, and seas of Northern Vietnam.
